UAE welcomes the ceasefire between India and Pakistan in Kashmir
The UAE welcomed the declaration of a ceasefire between the Indian and Pakistani armies across the disputed borders in Kashmir.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation confirmed - in a statement - that the UAE has close historical ties with the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and that it commends the efforts of the two countries to reach this achievement, stressing that it is an important step towards achieving security, stability and prosperity in the region and the region.
