Hamburg (dpa) - At the time when hairdressers were closed, the Hamburg restaurateur and TV chef Tim Mälzer (50) opted for a simple solution to badly coiffed hair: "The hair does suffer, but I have an effective remedy: a hat," Mälzer said German press agency in Hamburg.

He is actually not a hat person.

"Whenever I put on a hat, I look like I haven't finished school."

But a wool hat is better than hair that is too wild at the moment.

He then wears the hat in the manner of a street look like a dock worker.

“Not such a weird hipster thing,” the man from Hamburg emphasized.

A baseball cap against the chaos on his head, on the other hand, does not come into his bag even in Corona times.

"I still have a bit of residual dignity in my life."
