The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the emergency use of the coronary vaccine by the pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson.

According to the Washington Post, distribution of the vaccine in the country is scheduled to begin in the next few days.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is the third corona vaccine authorized in the United States.

It is given as a single injection and can be stored at refrigerator temperature, making it easier to dispense than Pfizer and Biontech and Moderna vaccines, which require freezing conditions.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is due to issue a recommendation on the Johnson & Johnson coroner vaccine on 11 March.
