Gelsenkirchen (dpa) - Club idol Klaus Fischer is shocked by the state of his former club FC Schalke 04. "What is happening there is a catastrophe," said the 71-year-old the "Reviersport" (Sunday).
Previously, the knocked-down bottom of the table in the Bundesliga had parted ways with coach Christian Gross, sports director Jochen Schneider, team manager Sascha Riether and fitness trainer Werner Leuthard.
Big was the fourth coach in the current season with the Royal Blues.
It is still unclear who will train the traditional club.
«In the current situation, you can't actually get a young coach.
It takes an experienced man.
But who does that to themselves? ”Fischer continued.
