Oberstdorf (dpa) - At the Nordic World Ski Championships, there are two German chances for medals at the end of the first week of competition.
In the Nordic Combined team competition, the quartet of national coach Hermann Weinbuch is one of the favorites today (10 a.m. and 3 p.m. / ARD and Eurosport).
Eric Frenzel finished fourth in the singles on Friday.
The toughest rival is Norway for dominator Jarl Magnus Riiber, who won the individual World Cup title right at the start.
In ski jumping, mixed with two women and two men is on the program on the normal hill (5.00 p.m. / ARD and Eurosport).
The German team of team boss Peter Schlickenrieder only has outsider chances in the team sprint decisions (finals from 1 p.m. / ARD and Eurosport 2) for cross-country skiers.
The two races will be held this time using the free technique.
