Radeberg (dpa / sn) - After the spread of virus variants in the Radeberg region in the Bautzen district, the district office calls for a mass test.

On Tuesday, people can be tested using a quick test, as the office announced on Sunday.

So the infection process should be contained in and around Radeberg.

The call is addressed to the residents of Radeberg, Großröhrsdorf, Lichtenberg, Ottendorf-Okrilla, Wachau and Arnsdorf.

There are now 53 suspected cases of the British virus variant in the Bautzen district.

A daycare center in Ullersdorf is particularly affected with ten cases.
