Uighurs have been protesting outside the Chinese consulate in Istanbul for several weeks.
They want to attract the attention of the outside world but also put pressure on the Turkish government, which has shown more and more signs of unwillingness to clash with China.
One of the protesters is Zöhre Sultan, whose relatives have not been heard from for several years and she does not even know if they are alive.
