February 27, 2021 The maxi aid plan by American President Joe Biden to counter the harsh effects of the coronavirus in the country was approved in the House and now passes to the Senate.

This is a $ 1,900 billion aid package, which will allow the country to allocate new funds to the Covid vaccination program, to local governments and to millions of families devastated by the pandemic.

"After 12 months of death and despair, the American recovery begins tonight," said Pennsylvania Democrat lawmaker Brendan Boyle just before the plan was approved - after midnight local time - with 219 votes in favor and 212 against.

No Republican voted in favor of the package.

The United States passed the threshold of 500 thousand deaths caused by the coronavirus four days ago and since the beginning of the pandemic there are 28,486,394 cases of contagion.
