Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - In Saarland, 128 new corona infections were detected within 24 hours.
This increased the seven-day incidence to 73.0 as the Ministry of Health in Saarbrücken announced on Saturday (as of 4:00 p.m.).
The day before, the value was 71.4 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days.
The St. Wendel district had the highest incidence with a value of 93.1.
The number of deaths related to the coronavirus is unchanged from the previous day at 883. A total of 28,894 infections have been detected across the Saarland so far.
According to the ministry, 1264 people in Saarland are demonstrably infected with Sars-CoV-2.
154 of them are being treated in hospitals and 40 in intensive care units.
