Berlin (dpa / bb) - A pedestrian was hit by a van in Berlin's West End and seriously injured.
The 47-year-old was hit by a 58-year-old driver's car on Heerstrasse at the Am Rupenhorn intersection on Friday, as the police announced on Saturday.
Details were initially unknown.
The man came to a clinic with severe head injuries, where he was admitted to the hospital.
Heerstraße remained closed at the accident site for several hours until late morning.
