As a result of the railway accident, more than 200 m of tracks were damaged, as well as wagons and contact supports.

The damage is estimated at over 1 million rubles.

On February 18, on the territory of the Skovorodinsky district of the Amur region, on one of the sections of the Trans-Baikal railway, 25 cars with coal derailed.

Because of the incident, long-distance passenger trains were detained on the Vladivostok-Omsk, Samara-Vladivostok, Tynda-Khabarovsk, Vladivostok-Moscow, Khabarovsk-Neryungri and Moscow-Vladivostok routes.
