Holding Qiyaam prayer in Ramadan according to precautionary controls in Egypt

The Egyptian Ministry of Endowments announced, in a statement on its electronic portal, today, Saturday, that the Qiyam prayer will be held in the coming month of Ramadan, in accordance with precautionary controls in the mosques where Friday prayers are held.

The Undersecretary for Mosques Affairs, Noah Al-Essawi, stated that while adhering to all the precautions and precautionary measures and taking into account the distances involved, the qiyaam prayer will be held in Ramadan in the mosques that are held on Friday, and that is for prayers only without allowing any breakfast tables or holding a retreat.

The statement stressed "the continuation of not allowing the opening of shrines, toilets or event houses, observing all existing controls and adhering to all precautionary and preventive measures."

The statement added that "continuous cleaning and sterilization operations will be intensified, with an assurance that there is absolutely no blame on the one who prays Tarawih in his home, but it is desirable in the circumstances in which we are in, to contribute to achieving separation and reducing meeting times in one place."
