The Istituto Superiore di Sanità, in the national update of February 24 on the Covid-19 epidemic, reported that: "Starting from the second half of January, there is a decreasing trend in the number of cases in healthcare workers and age greater than or equal to 80 years, probably attributable to the vaccination campaign in progress ".

A fact that the Istituto Superiore di Sanità also highlights by posting a graphic on Twitter.

"The epidemic curve of cases reported as health workers and the curve of cases not reported as health workers had a very similar trend up to the second half of January - reads the report, which explains the graph - when the two curves began to diverge, showing a visibly declining trend for healthcare professionals against a steady trend, with a trend towards a slight increase since February 8 ".
