Demonstrations. More than 40 detainees after the riots in Catalonia and the charges in Madrid in the demonstrations in support of Pablo Hasel
The
National Police
have arrested two individuals, one of them a minor, who on February 17 allegedly attacked
a riot police
in
Madrid
during a protest in support of rapper Pablo Hasel.
As reported by the Police on Friday, the attacked agent was an officer of the
Prevention and Reaction Unit (UPR)
, who was violently and repeatedly beaten with a wooden stick when she was on the ground, where she had fallen after tripping with a scooter thrown in his wake.
During this protest, in addition to physical attacks on the agents who were part of the police force, there were riots with the breaking of street furniture, damage to commercial establishments and the throwing of objects.
The investigations carried out into these events made it possible to identify one of the alleged perpetrators of the attack on the riot police, who was detained and placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.
Another underage participant in the altercations made the police fall to the ground by throwing a scooter at his feet.
After being also arrested, he was transferred to the premises of the
Group of Minors
of the National Police.
The investigation continues open so new arrests are not ruled out.
