The Paris Bourse ended sharply down 1.39% on Friday, penalized by a rebalancing in favor of government bonds, which have seen their yields rise sharply in recent days due to expectations of rising inflation.

The CAC 40 index fell by 80.67 points to end the session at 5,703.22 points, the day after a drop of 0.24%.

Its losses for the week reached 1.20%, but it remains up 2.76% since January 1.
