The seemingly attractive snack "gummy" is actually a new type of drug with great harm.

On February 26, the reporter learned from Xiamen Customs that Xiamen Customs and local police have recently uncovered a suspected drug smuggling case through delivery channels and seized 509 grams of "gummy" containing cannabis.

According to intelligence clues, it was discovered that an entry package declared as "daily necessities" was suspected of containing drugs. The Xiamen Customs anti-smuggling department immediately conducted a research and judgment in conjunction with local public security, and the targeted criminal suspect Chen Moumou was investigated and judged as soon as possible.

After continuous monitoring and careful deployment, Chen Moumou who came to pick up the package was successfully captured.

Weighed on-site, the package contained 509 grams of soft candy containing THC.

After preliminary investigation, the package was purchased by Chen from abroad through the Internet in an attempt to smuggle it into the country by mail.

Xiamen Customs reminds that THC is the main psychoactive substance in marijuana and is addictive. Once consumed is equivalent to taking drugs, it is illegal to carry or mail food containing this substance. Do not try the law for reasons such as curiosity.
