Moscow (dpa) - In the search for further leaks at the International Space Station ISS, the crew cautiously gave the all-clear.

Initially, the astronauts feared at least three new leaks.

These have now been examined.

The result: "In one place there is a scratch, in another a dent," said cosmonaut Sergei Ryschikow of the Russian agency Interfax.

The result of the examination of a difficult to access place under a pipe is still pending.

As can be seen from radio messages from the crew to the flight control center, the recordings from a special microscope are now to be evaluated.

The microscope was brought to the ISS in a space freighter from the Baikonur spaceport in Kazakhstan last week.

In the autumn, the crew found an opening 4.5 centimeters long and temporarily sealed it.

It is expected that this will be sealed again next Monday, it said.

The spacemen are to be trained for this at the weekend.

There are currently seven space travelers on the outpost of humanity about 400 kilometers above the earth - in addition to two Russians, there are four Americans and one Japanese.
