Hanover (dpa / lni) - About three weeks after shooting a 24-year-old in Hanover, the police arrested a suspect.

The 19-year-old was silent on both the motive and the question of where the weapon was, the police and public prosecutor announced on Friday.

The investigation is into attempted manslaughter, and the suspect should be brought before a judge on the same day.

Witnesses watched two suspects escape on foot.

An immediate search for the vehicle and the perpetrators was unsuccessful.
