"The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia completely rejects the negative, false and unacceptable assessment of the Kingdom's leadership contained in the report and notes that the report contained inaccurate information and conclusions," the SPA quoted the Foreign Ministry as saying.

The statement also says that in relation to those who committed the murder of Khashukji, the necessary measures were taken in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Arabian Foreign Ministry added that Riyadh "rejects any measures that infringe on its leadership, sovereignty and independence of its judicial system."

Earlier, the United States imposed visa sanctions against 76 Saudi Arabians in connection with the murder of Khashukji in 2018.

The journalist was killed at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul on October 2, 2018.

Later, the Saudi authorities said that he was killed in the diplomatic mission building as a result of the conflict.
