The plenary session of the Zaragoza City Council has rejected this Friday the words of the second vice president of the Government, Pablo Iglesias, in which he questioned whether there was democratic normality in Spain.

The motion, presented by PP and Ciudadanos, has had the support of PSOE and Vox.

In addition to condemning Iglesias, these municipal groups have "expressly distanced themselves" from the statements of the parliamentary spokesman of United We Can, Pablo Echenique, in which he showed "his express support for the extremists who caused the violent acts" that occurred in protest of the imprisonment of rapper Pablo Hasel in various parts of Spain.

Likewise, PP, Cs, PSOE and Vox have condemned "the violent episodes caused by radicals" in relation to the episodes of altercations, and have shown their "support" to the State Security Forces and Bodies, as well as their "support to officers injured "during the protests.

In statements collected by Efe, the socialist councilor Alfonso Gómez has considered that, although he does not share the words of Iglesias, "something will have to do" the attitudes of the Popular Party in the "distortion of democratic normality" after refusing to renew the Council General of the Judicial Power (CGPJ), as well as the accusations of Vox of "criminal government".
