Aachen (dpa / lnw) - A police officer in Aachen was attacked on Thursday while recording an accident.
The police announced on Friday that one of the people involved in the accident was among the attackers.
The officer had to repel the attack with a baton and pepper spray.
Several attackers were injured by the pepper spray, while the policeman was not injured.
Several police car crews were necessary to calm the situation.
A criminal case has been initiated for resisting law enforcement officers.
