Hamburg (dpa / lno) - Captain Tim Leibold sees the second division soccer team Hamburger SV well prepared for the city derby with FC St. Pauli on Monday (8.30 p.m. / Sky).
The defeat against the Würzburg Kickers (2: 3) a week earlier was "a warning example," said Leibold in an interview on the HSV website.
«The virtues that we did not bring to bear there will have to be seen as our core business again in the next few weeks.
The constant willingness to want to work against the ball is the basis of our game. "
If HSV bring their quality to the pitch as a collective, "then we are an ungrateful opponent for every team in the league," said Leibold.
"Of course St. Pauli has collected a lot of points in the past few weeks, but we did that, so we shouldn't be underestimated."
Hamburg are leaders in the 23rd matchday and have 14 points more than the eleventh St. Pauli on the account.
However, the Kiezkicker are twice as successful in the second half of the season with twelve points in five games as the HSV with six points.
