Berlin (dpa / bb) - The Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB) has now paid out November aid amounting to 227 million euros.

That corresponds to almost 60 percent of the requested funding volume, announced the IBB on Friday.

With around 23,700 processed applications, around 83 percent of the inventory has been processed.

IBB was initially more cautious about the December aid.

So far, around 24,100 applications have been received, it said.

According to IBB, three quarters of these have now been processed.

However, she did not mention the funding amounts on Friday.

Due to the sluggish payments, the federal and state governments came under fire.

The companies affected had to submit the aid applications to the federal government during the Corona crisis.

According to its own statements, the investment bank was only able to access the data weeks later.

She announced another batch of processing for Monday.

Since mid-February, companies can also submit applications for the federal government's third bridging aid program.

So far 1300 applications have been received for Berlin.

In the case of the restart aid for self-employed people, there are 8600 applications.

With the aid, the federal government wants to support companies, the self-employed and associations that are affected by the closings from November 2, 2020 to combat the corona pandemic.

In the case of November and December aid, the federal government contributes up to 75 percent of the previous year's sales.
