Neckarsulm (dpa) - The handball players at SV Union Halle-Neustadt have not been able to top up their points account in the fight against relegation.

The newcomer lost his guest appearance at the sixth in the table Neckarsulmer Sportunion on Friday with 30:35 (14:17) and in twelfth place is now only four points ahead of the first direct relegation place.

Irene Perez (8) and Nathalie Hendrikse (7) had the largest share in Neckarsulm's success.

Jenice Funke (9) and Helena Mikkelsen (7) scored the most goals for the indoor women who received the Second SG BBM Bietigheim on Sunday.

The guests from Halle got off to a furious start and were 5-0 up after seven minutes.

Neckarsulm turned the game around with an 8: 1 run from 2: 7 (10th) to 10: 8 (20th) and only allowed the equalizer once more (13:13, 24th).

Shortly after the restart, the hosts ran away to 21:16 (36th) and thus ensured an early decision in this encounter.
