Bremen (dpa) - During and after the Friday evening game between Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt, there were at times heated discussions and arguments between the two teams.

The two coaches Florian Kohfeldt and Adi Hütter had a verbal clash on the sidelines and continued to argue after the final whistle for Werder's 2-1 win when they left the field.

Frankfurt's Martin Hinteregger and Bremen's Niklas Füllkrug even fought a little scuffle on the way to the cabins.

“It's always so combative and emotional against Bremen.

In the end it was way too much.

Too much talk on the pitch and outside the square in the stands, ”said Eintracht captain Makoto Hasebe afterwards in a DAZN interview.
