Stuttgart (dpa) - VfB Stuttgart has terminated two other employees in the course of the data protection affair.

"We initiated labor law consequences for two employees yesterday and terminated our cooperation," said VfB CEO Thomas Hitzlsperger on Friday.

No further layoffs are currently planned.

"On the basis of the current investigations of the facts, there are no further labor law responsibilities of employees," said the ex-international.

Nevertheless, the 38-year-old did not rule out further personnel changes.

In the past, the VfB has passed on massive amounts of member data to an external service provider and in some cases acted “clearly illegally”, as Hitzlsperger said.

Previously, the two former members of the Executive Board, Stefan Heim and Jochen Röttgermann, had already been dismissed from the Supervisory Board.
