One more incident for Boeing, just days after the spectacular one in Denver.

A plane operated by United Airlines caught fire shortly after takeoff and lost its fairing, dropping

debris

in a residential area.

New problem

This Friday, February 26, a new problem was detected by the crew of the Boeing 777 of the company Rossiya, a subsidiary of Aeroflot.

"

During cargo flight 4520 Hong Kong-Madrid, a malfunction of the engine control sensor was detected,

" the company said in a statement sent to AFP.

The crew therefore "

decided to make an emergency landing

" at the Moscow airport of Sheremetyevo.

According to websites specializing in flight tracking, the aircraft in question was a Boeing 777-300ER.

Rossiya later told AFP that all of his Boeing 777-300ERs were fitted with GE90 engines from US manufacturer General Electric, a different model from those involved in last week's crash in the US.

More than

120 Boeing 777s equipped with certain Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines were immobilized in

the world after this spectacular incident, only American, Japanese, and Korean companies being concerned according to Boeing.

Another blow after the tragic setbacks of the 737 MAX, involved in two accidents and banned from flying for almost two years.

The danger is the explosion

Engine failures are not uncommon in civil aviation and devices are certified to fly several hours on one engine while reaching an airport.

The potential danger arises especially in the event of an engine explosion, debris of which can damage the rest of the aircraft.

The plane of the company Rosssiya was to resume its flight to continue its route to Madrid during the day.
