Summit between the Government and the European Commissioner for Competition

The green light for the industrial plan of CEO Fabio Lazzerini must be there both from Parliament (for now it has only come from the Senate) and from the European Commission.

In the middle of next week (probably Tuesday 2 March), via videoconference, a summit will take place between the government and the European Commissioner for Competition, Margrethe Vestager: "A meeting in liaison between ministers is scheduled for next week Giancarlo Giorgetti, Enrico Giovannini , Daniele Franco and the European Commissioner Margrethe Vestager ", continues the joint note by Giorgetti and Giovannini.

"The European Commission will be presented with proposals for the resolution of the outstanding issues", inform ministerial sources.

The

salaries

and

advances the CIGS

February to employees will be paid late March 1st.

For this reason, the unions remain alarmed: Uiltrasporti has asked to be called "urgently" and for the assets relaunches the idea "of a private negotiation with a single lot and maintaining the current company perimeter even if with a different corporate structure".

In the meantime,

INPS

has made it known that it will pay the supplementary allowance to workers having carefully considered the situation of prolonged economic emergency and the particular conditions of the air transport sector, in particular of Alitalia.

The social security institute, in agreement with the Ministry of Labor, considered it appropriate "to continue to disburse supplementary allowances to Alitalia staff, based on the salaries declared by the company for the month of November 2020 (first month of the new intervention approved by the Air Transport Solidarity Fund), pending the completion of the investigations in progress with the company itself ".
