Michelstadt (dpa / lhe) - A driver died in the Odenwald after a head-on collision with a truck.
The 45-year-old got into the opposite lane on a country road near Michelstadt-Vielbrunn on Friday morning for an unexplained cause and collided with the truck loaded with cosmetics, according to the police in Darmstadt.
The fire brigade could only rescue the man dead from his vehicle wreck.
An expert should now clarify the exact course of the accident.
The country road had to be closed.
