Kiel (dpa / lno) - The number of new corona infections reported daily in Schleswig-Holstein remains at a similar level.
260 new infections were registered on Friday, according to data published by the Ministry of Health in Kiel (data status: February 26, 8:11 p.m.).
A week earlier there were 267 confirmed new infections.
The seven-day incidence is still around 50. On Friday, the number of infections per 100,000 inhabitants within a week was 50.2 - after 50.5 on Thursday, 50.9 on Wednesday and 50.0 on Tuesday.
The target for the next opening steps is a maximum of 35 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days.
The number of deaths related to the virus increased according to the information by 8 to 1281. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 42,235 people have been infected with the virus in Schleswig-Holstein.

The number of patients treated in hospitals in Schleswig-Holstein was 283 (Thursday: 296).
77 people continued to receive intensive care, 60 with ventilation.
