Hemeroteca.Juan Carlos I pays the Treasury 678,000 euros to regularize the use of opaque cards
King Juan Carlos has presented a new regularization to the Treasury for the flights paid by his cousin Álvaro de Orleans.
As 'El País' has advanced and sources familiar with the operation confirm to EL MUNDO, it has paid a figure close to four million euros to avoid the commission of a tax offense for the gift of private jet trips worth eight million.
These operations were funded through the 'off shore' foundation Zagatka.
In this way he admits again, as he did in December, when he regularized 680,000 euros for the gifts that the Mexican businessman Sanginés-Krause gave him, an unjustified increase in assets.
At the moment, the Support Unit of the Tax Agency attached to the Prosecutor's Office is analyzing the regularizations to check if they are complete or if, on the contrary, they do not serve to regularize the entire hidden fortune of Don Juan Carlos.
Both the gifts from the Mexican businessman and the flights paid for by Zagatka are operations after the abdication of Don Juan Carlos and, therefore, were carried out in a period in which it was not inviolable.
