It was a railway worker who alerted the Gironde firefighters this Thursday morning at 8 am, after discovering the body in the life of a 17-year-old teenager at the Bordeaux-Hourcade marshalling yard, in Villenave d'Ornon.
"He was found dead on the edge of the rails, at the foot of a pylon," said the communications officer of the SDIS de la Gironde at 20

It is still unclear at this point whether he jumped off the pylon to end his life or whether he was hit by a train.
An investigation has been launched to try to understand what happened.
