It is important to relate to the recommendations that exist regarding travel outside Sweden, says Anders Tegnell during Thursday's joint press conference.

The state epidemiologist emphasizes the importance of testing yourself twice after returning from a trip abroad, first immediately and then again after five days.

- We know that some can be tested negative but still get sick after a few days.

It is important to do these two tests.

It is also important to stay at home for the first seven days after a trip abroad, says Anders Tegnell.

"Strongly advises"

Most people travel within Sweden, and to do so in an infection-proof way, you should be able to isolate yourself at the destination if you should become ill, not establish new contacts on or during the trip and not be crowded at gas stations or other places where it is difficult to keep your distance.

- Think before you travel.

If you do not feel confident that it is possible to carry out infection-proof, we strongly advise against traveling, says Anders Tegnell.
