The findings were made during a major police operation at the end of October last year at an address east of Örebro.

The man was first arrested on suspicion of a serious gun crime, for which he is now convicted, but is now also convicted of a serious child pornography crime after the police found several storage units with large amounts of pictures and films with child pornography.

Got tips from the FBI

The find in the caravan was found after the FBI informed the Örebro police that a computer at the address was connected to a cloud service where files containing sexual abuse of children had been found.

The man pleads guilty to aggravated assault, but denies aggravated child pornography.

He claims that the material is not his and that someone tried to put him there.

Sentenced to prison

Örebro District Court sentences the man on both counts to two and a half years in prison.

The newspaper Nerikes Allehanda writes that the two elderly people who were arrested in connection with the police raid on suspicion of a serious violation of the law on flammable and explosive goods have been released, but that the investigation continues and that the suspicions against the people remain.
