Schwerin (dpa / mv) - The state tourism association was disappointed with the results of the state corona summit.
"The mood worsened after the summit," said the managing director of the regional tourism association, Tobias Woitendorf, of the German press agency on Thursday.
He had hoped for a clearer opening perspective for this important economic area.
An opening of hotels to locals at Easter has become even more unlikely in view of the recently not falling corona incidence values.
The state government agreed on Wednesday with representatives from business, social associations and municipalities on opening phases in the corona pandemic.
Gastronomy and the hotel industry should therefore initially open to locals, the state had already proceeded in a similar way last year.
However, there has not yet been a specific date for these possible openings.
