Kempten (dpa / lby) - The Kempten regional court sentenced a 37-year-old to six years in prison on Thursday for serious sexual abuse of two children.
As the press office of the court reported, the Syrian living in a refugee home in Marktoberdorf had, according to the conviction of the criminal chamber, offended the children when the victims were eight, eleven and twelve years old.
There were seven cases from 2019 and 2020.
The defendant did not comment on the allegations until the end of the proceedings.
However, the judges believed the statements made by the two children.
There was "no tangible evidence of intentional false statements or an excessive imagination of the injured party," it said in the message.
The accused can now appeal the judgment with an appeal at the Federal Court of Justice.
