Potsdam (dpa / bb) - The police in Potsdam discovered two relevant intruders.
The two 33 and 39-year-old men had tried to break into a house in the Teltower suburb through the cellar, as the West Police Department announced on Thursday.
However, a witness caught the two of them, whereupon they fled.
An initiated manhunt was successful: the investigators were able to locate the two men near the house on Drevesstrasse on Wednesday.
The police found burglary tools and a bag “with a white narcotic substance” on the team.
The two men were taken into custody, but later released for lack of grounds for detention.
Further investigations have been initiated.
