Fürth (dpa / lby) - SpVgg Greuther Fürth relies on Paul Seguin and Sebastian Ernst from the start in the away game of the 2nd Bundesliga against Hannover 96 on Saturday (1 p.m.).

Coach Stefan Leitl announced on Thursday that the two midfielders would return to the starting line-up after their suspensions had expired.

Central defender Mergim Mavraj after a thigh injury and offensive player Julian Green after a positive corona test will certainly be absent in Lower Saxony.

The healing process with Mavraj is good, reported Leitl.

The 34-year-old will be in rehab until Friday and will be examined again on Monday.

Green had already missed the 2-1 win against Holstein Kiel on Monday and is currently still in quarantine at home.

When the 25-year-old can return is open.

Green is doing well under the circumstances, said Leitl.

"We don't want to and won't take any risks with him."

After moving up to second place in the table, the mood in Fürth is «naturally excellent», reported Leitl.

The top game against Kiel had "cost a lot of grains physically and mentally."

Leitl is now expecting a “very, very good Hanoverian team” and is aiming for the 50-point goal with his team.

The Franks currently have 42 points after 22 games.
