Spaichingen (dpa / lsw) - Two children were hit by a car at an intersection in Spaichingen and seriously injured.
The 63-year-old driver overlooked the nine and eleven-year-old children and captured them frontally, the police said.
The two were thrown about 20 meters away by the force of the impact and were seriously injured on the road.
They were then taken to two different clinics in rescue helicopters.
Why the driver did not see the children on Thursday afternoon was still unclear - as well as other details.
