A 14-year-old girl was stabbed to death in Saint-Chéron, Essonne, on Monday afternoon.

Six teenagers aged 14 to 16 were indicted Thursday as part of this investigation, including the 16-year-old minor who admitted to having carried the fatal stab.

Six teenagers aged 14 to 16 were indicted Thursday in the investigation into the murder of a 14-year-old schoolgirl stabbed on Monday in Saint-Chéron, in Essonne, during a brawl between young people, announced the Evry parquet floor.

The 16-year-old minor who admitted having carried the fatal stab was indicted for murder of a 15-year-old minor, aggravated violence and participation in a group with a view to committing violence.

Already known for two offenses, but not for acts of violence, this teenager was placed in pre-trial detention.

The other five are being prosecuted for aggravated violence, participation in a group to commit violence and non-assistance to a 15-year-old in danger, in accordance with the requisitions of the prosecutor Caroline Nisand.

They were placed under judicial supervision with the ban on appearing in Ile-de-France and from being in contact with the co-perpetrators, the victims and their families.

Several young people came to "do battle"

The rivalry between minors from Dourdan and Saint-Chéron dates back to this summer "against a background of messages, insults and provocations on social networks", explained the magistrate on Wednesday in a statement.

Monday, several miners from Dourdan had gone to Saint-Chéron to "do battle".

In the brawl, "with punches and kicks", one of the miners of Dourdan gave a fatal stab at the 14-year-old girl, who died Monday evening in hospital.

In another commune of Essonne, in Boussy-Saint-Antoine, a 14-year-old teenager was killed Tuesday in another clash between gangs of young people.

The two cases do not seem to be linked, according to the prosecution.

Since Tuesday, 60 additional gendarmes have been deployed in Saint-Chéron and 30 police in Boussy-Saint-Antoine.
