The Hill: Johnson & Johnson vaccine confirmed in USA

According to published information, the vaccine can be up to 85% effective in treating the most severe cases of the disease.

As the newspaper writes, the FDA expert council on Friday, February 26, will hold a meeting at which a decision will be made on the advisability of approving this drug.

It is clarified that in case of a positive decision, the vaccine from Johnson & Johnson may be approved for use in the United States this week.

The American company Johnson & Johnson has filed an application with the World Health Organization (WHO) for the registration of a vaccine against the coronavirus of the Belgian pharmacological division Janssen.
