  According to reports, the Russian "Alliance" natural gas pipeline exploded on the 23rd, causing gas supply to be interrupted. The transit transportation of this pipeline to Kazakhstan was also suspended.

At the same time, the "Orenburg-Novo Pskov" natural gas trunk pipeline also stopped sending gas.

  Regarding the accident, Barekin said, “The Emergency Committee has held a meeting and listened to the opinions of representatives of all departments and units. The Ilyk District (where the explosion occurred) has entered a state of emergency, and all villages in the area have natural gas. Supply, pipeline pressure in some villages has dropped, and two residential areas in Novosergiyevka district have stopped gas."

  Barekin pointed out that these villages have begun emergency operations.

Barekin also emphasized that “the situation is under the control of the governor. It is currently communicating with residents to prepare temporary settlements for those in need.”
