Stralsund (dpa / mv) - Unknown people pelted the property of the Lord Mayor of Stralsund with stones.
At least four fist-sized stones landed on the property of Alexander Badrow (CDU) on Wednesday, the police said.
Because the police assume a connection with Badrow's office, the state security has been turned on.
According to the current state of knowledge, it is not a criminal offense because no one has been injured and no damage has occurred, said a spokeswoman.
The state security could, however, also investigate to avert danger.
The strangers are also said to have made noise in front of the house with whistles.
The incident was described to the mayor by a previously unknown witness.
The police are looking for her and other witnesses.
