Offenbach (dpa) - The spring-like weather in Germany is drawing to a close, at least for the time being.

"However, there is still no talk of the cold," said meteorologist Markus Übel from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach on Wednesday.

From Friday, the temperatures only fell to a level that was more in line with the season.

On Thursday blue skies and sunshine still dominate, temperatures are mostly between 16 and 21 degrees.

In the north and north-west there are many clouds in the afternoon, but it is mostly dry.

One day later, the waiting area drops to 8 to 15 degrees, in Chiemgau 17 degrees are possible.

Especially in the middle, later partly in the southwest and south, there are thick clouds in the sky, sometimes it rains.

At the weekend, sunshine is announced in many places, albeit with significantly cooler temperatures than a week before.

The values ​​are between 7 degrees on the coast and 13 degrees on the Upper Rhine.

Clouds can be seen on Saturday in the northeast, east and partly in the middle of Germany.

In the afternoon, however, it loosens up.

In the rest of the republic, the sky is serene all day long.
