The Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman underwent a successful operation to remove appendicitis.
The official statement published by the agency said, "His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense performed a laparoscopic operation to eradicate appendicitis this morning at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, and this operation was successful, praise be to God." He left the hospital.
Saudi media showed a short video of the Saudi crown prince leaving the hospital.
