Russia and Kyrgyzstan signed an agreement on a labeling system

"The goal of the project is to create a national component of the information system for labeling goods in the Kyrgyz Republic," the message says.

The ministry clarified that the work is planned to be completed within 18 months, the contractor will be involved through the conclusion of a state contract.

“Here (in Russia -

) this system works quite successfully due to the fact that we have implemented it in relation to a wide range of industries,” the press service added.

It is noted that this system will affect additional tax revenues to the budget, "cleanliness" of the market and the ability for conscientious manufacturers to enter the market with their products without fear of competition from the shadow segment. 

On February 24, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov arrived in Russia on his first official visit.
