Munich (dpa) - This Thursday (9:30 a.m.) the Munich Regional Court I deals with the phenomenon of child sexual abuse broadcast live on the Internet.
A 40-year-old from Munich, who is said to have watched the abuse and rape of children over and over again via Skype and given detailed instructions to the perpetrators, has to answer there.
He is charged with incitement to rape and serious sexual abuse of children.
"The phenomenon is what is known as live streaming," reports the Federal Criminal Police Office.
"Victims are sexually abused here, while the paying customer can watch what is happening abroad live using a webcam and give both the perpetrator and the victim instructions to act."

According to the BKA, the Philippines is a hotspot for child abuse and prostitution via webcam.
