February 24, 2021 The session improved significantly in the second part of the afternoon. Positive closings for all European stock exchanges: Milan gains 0.69%, Frankfurt 0.80%, London 0.50% and Paris 0.31%. The markets of the Old Continent were helped by the performance of Wall Street which, after a negative start, turned into positive territory recovering the lost ground: the Nasdaq gains 0.18% and the Dow Jones marks a rise of 0.74 %. The spread between the Italian BTP and the German Bund has widened again, settling close to 100 (99 basis points), while the yield of our ten-year rises to 0.69%. All the 6.5 billion offered (demand close to 10 billion) were placed at the half-yearly bot auction, with a slightly upward but still negative yield at -0.429%.
