The Chinese Deputy Inspector Lu Xiaoshi, the head of the Asian Hate Crimes Task Force of the New York City Police Department, said they have carried out 18 arrests.
Bai Sihao emphasized that the Asian hate crime task force has 25 Asian police detectives who speak 11 languages. They will continue to work in the community to curb the occurrence of Asian hate crimes.
