Maria Soläng, press secretary at Stefan Löfven confirms that a meeting is scheduled for 16:00 on Monday.
- The meeting will be about the Swedish border commuters.
The government is very concerned about the situation and expects a solution from Norway to arrive soon.
As we have told in several reports, the situation is now critical for many commuters, who have been without pay or other financial compensation when they can not get to their jobs in Norway.
Others have chosen to settle temporarily on the Norwegian side, and have thus not been able to travel home to their families in Sweden during the almost four weeks that have passed since Norway closed the border completely to commuters as well. Only people with so-called socially critical jobs are allowed to pass.
